Paper Electrophoresis Apparatus (Horizontal migration Cell) is made of transparent acrylic lastic sheet PLATINUM ELECTRODES OF 99.9% PURITY extend through the entire width of buffer compartment. It can accommodate six paper strips of 4 cm width or paper/ sheet upto 28 cm width on removable special strip carrier placed on the bed of the chamber.

Melting points is displayed on the 31/2 digit mounted on the front panel. The instrument basically consists of miniature furnace with controllable heating rate arrangement, and air circulating arrangement and digital temperature indicating circuitry with necessary controls, Temp at the melting point is latched on the digital display and the furnace is automatically cut-off. The rate of rise in temperature can be precisely controlled by a knob on the front panel. The instrument gives audio & visual indications, on reaching the temp, at which the sample melts. The temp indicating point of the sample remains displayed on the panel till the clear press switch marked "CLEAR" is operated. The range of the instruments is 400C to 3500C, Readability is 10C with accuracy of ± 10C. The unit works on 230 volts/50Hz A.C.

Electrically operated with quick release chuck taking wide variety of interchangeable nylon brushes for cleaning syringes, test tubes, bottles etc. Model (a) and (b) are table model mounted on a heavy base and have single chuck. It has a double scale. One is oil scale (Butyro Scale) having range of 0 to 100 and accuracy of ± 0.1 read directly on the micrometer. The other is sugar scale having a range of 50-80% with an accuracy of ± 1% also read direct on scale.
